Closing the books on the 2017 Festival

It’s difficult to believe the 2017 Virginia Festival of the Book has come and gone already, but we hope you enjoyed it all as much as we did! With more than 260 programs, featuring over 400 speakers and more than 200 community partners, this Festival offered socially important, diverse, and fun programs. And whether you were able to attend one or one hundred programs, we thank you for being part of it!

If you enjoyed the Festival, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help ensure the continued excellence of the Festival. All donors receive our gratitude, but we also offer donor benefits—including tote bags, letterpressed notecards, and enamel pins—for specific levels. Click here to learn more.

You can also check out photo highlights from the 2017 Festival on Flickr and on our blog.

Further, if you’d like to fill out a program evaluation form to let us know what you thought, please visit the specific program page on VaBook.org.

Finally, keep an eye out for e-news updates about the 2018 Festival submissions period, opening June 1.

And remember: We’ll do it all again next year! Mark your calendars for the next Festival, March 21-25, 2018.
