Bill Schutt, author of Cannibalism: A Perfectly Natural History, is a biology professor at Long Island University and a research associate in residence at the American Museum of Natural History. A recipient of the Museum’s Theodore Roosevelt Grant, he lives on the East End of Long Island with his wife and son.
