Are you new to watching virtual events but want to take part in the Virginia Festival of the Book? We can help!

To keep things as simple as possible, we present the majority of our virtual events events on both Zoom or Facebook Live, so you can opt to watch them wherever you feel most comfortable. They are available live or on-demand after the event concludes. You can browse all on-demand videos on VaBook.org/Watch.

Watch on Zoom

To use Zoom, simply register in advance for an event by clicking the registration links on the event listing (see our Schedule for the full line-up of events). Then, you’ll simply follow the link you receive by email to join the event at the appointed time on the day of the event. Once you’re in the Zoom event, you’ll be able to watch live video of the event and ask questions of the speakers using the Q&A function.

New to Zoom? Watch a short video below about how to get started!

Watch on Facebook

If you’d prefer to watch on Facebook, you’ll want to visit our Facebook page at the start time of the event, where you’ll find the livestream and can watch—no registration needed!

Miss an event?
