Judith Heumann, author of Being Heumann: An Unrepentant Memoir of a Disability Rights Activist, is an internationally recognized leader in disability rights advocacy at home and abroad, serving in the Clinton and Obama administrations and as the World Bank’s first adviser on disability and development. Heumann held the longest Federal sit-in which lead to the passage of Section 504, and appears in the film Crip Camp, winner of the 2020 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award and released on Netflix.
