Lilia Fuquen is a consultant in community engagement, working at the nexus of food systems and foodways. She has been intrigued by the relationship between food and community since she grew up living above her mother’s café and spending time on her family’s farm in Colombia, South America. Fuquen spent the past 6 years engaged in storytelling through workshops and radio, and is now dedicated to celebrating the stories around traditional, contemporary and emerging foodways.
